Major Pipeworks
On Wednesday 28th March, we were visited by a recorder group called Major Pipeworks who came to play a short concert for us.
Their conductor, Terry, showed us the different types of recorder from the smallest Sopranino to the largest Bass Recorder. Some made high sounds and some made lower sounds but when they all played together, they sounded beautiful.
They performed a range of folk tunes as well as some which we were more familiar with, such as Postman Pat and Teddy Bear's Picnic. Thank you to them all for such a lovely performance and for travelling to visit us.
A special thank you to John (Grandad of Jack in Year 6) for helping to organise the event.
