Special Visitor
On Thursday 16th September we had a special visit from S1mba.
S1mba, is a Zimbabwean-born British singer, rapper and songwriter, who is well known for his song 'Rover.' You might also remember that we named him in a newsletter last year when he was nominated for a Brit award.
S1mba is also a former student of the school. He came to Stanford Primary with his sister and younger brother.
S1mba came along to inspire the children to follow their dreams and aim high. He also played us a song from his new debut album which has just been released.
The children were very excited to meet S1mba, ask him questions, dance and sing along with him, as well as get his photo and autograph.
Year 5 and 6 children were also fortunate enough to get a promotional T-Shirt.
