Sports Day 2022
On Friday 1st July we held our Sports Day. Foundation and Key Stage One took part in the morning and Key Stage Two in the afternoon.
The children moved around the field and took part in various sporting events - egg and spoon, sack, sprint, obstacle, beanbag throwing, dribbling, vortex howler, skipping, speed bounce and relay.
It was a lovely day. The weather was kind to us and it was great to invite parents back in and have a picnic lunch. The children were brilliant at encouraging each other and all tried their best. It was also lovely to have Pre-School join us for a couple of races.
Well done to Year 6 and Mrs Warner-King who organised and ran the day.
Thank you to FOSS for providing refreshments and for purchasing the medals and ice pops that each child received.
Many thanks to everyone who helped set up and tidy away, especially David Bailey for setting up the sound system.
