Vision Day
On Monday 7th June we held a Vision Day. Every class looked at our vision statement, the Bible story behind it and how it links to our Christian Values and how the school operates.
At Stanford in the Vale CE Primary School, we aim for everybody to flourish in a loving community by 'working together to achieve together', with all achieving their individual potential to be the best they can be through the values of love, hope and community.
Our vision is linked to the story of Nehemiah and the Building of the Wall (Nehemiah 3:1-32), and was picked because it clearly shows the significance of our key values of Love, Hope and Community.
During the week we were also fortunate to have an artist, David Bowers, in to work with the children to create a mosaic of our vision and to capture the ethos of our school. They will soon to located outside, near the entrance to the school. Please do have a look - every child and staff member contributed to the mosaics.
